Fitting

Each towbar is shipped with instruction and scheme for assembly. We recommend to study this instruction (short but hopefully useful) even in seemingly simple cases. There are also listed tips for operation and service of towbar.

Some general information:

• For fitting of towbar are needed screws with endurance at least 8G.
• Under screw female is always flexible and flat underlay.
• Under the head of screw is always flat underlay (except fitting of towball between console, where are holes with high precision).
• After 300km (186miles) driven with trailer, check towbar fixture.
• Check towball fixture when attaching trailer.
• Keep towball clean, with slight oil coating and cover it with protection hood if you are not using trailer.
• Socket of detachable bayonet keep clean, inside slightly covered with oil and use protection hood if you are not using trailer.
• Don't keep bayonet hook attached if you are not using trailer.
• Detachable bayonet attached all over the winter will be problematic to remove in spring. Für die Montagen der TZ ist es nötig nur die Schrauben mit einer Minimalfestigkeit 8G zu gebrauchen.
